Ultimate Rods Billfish Braid Series Rod

With today’s trend leaning towards braided backing on most game reels, Ultimate Rods have utilised high quality SiC (silicone carbide) guide inserts for ultimate heat dispersion while alleviating any risk of thin braided line jumping between a roller guide and its frame. This guide setup is particularly common with rods designed for deep drop sword fishing where debris in the water column may catch on the line and clog the rollers rendering them somewhat useless.
