Making a great thing greater, Daiwa takes the Tatula baitcaster and cranks up its size and performance to create the new Tatula HD. Heavy duty (HD) in name and design the new 200-sized Tatula has been tricked out and pimped out, to make it standout as one of Daiwa’s premier heavy-duty baitcasters.

Heavy-duty baitcaster brilliance starts with Daiwa’s Real Four, with Real Engine, Real Control, Real Endurance, and Real Custom combining to make the Tatula HD technically advanced. A precision designed solid aluminium frame and gear side plate delivers maximum power and unrivalled durability, while its ergonomically designed profile fits effortlessly in the palm of the hand.

The Tatula HD’s outstanding casting performance is the result of Daiwa’s innovative T-Wing System (TWS), with the pivoting t-shaped line guide delivering unparalleled casting performance and line control. Daiwa’s advanced gear design, Digigear II, combines with the new Air Rotation system to create a reel that is unmatched for smoothness and gear precision, even under the heaviest load. While the Tatula HD’s high strength gearing will endure whatever loads and pressures are thrown at it.

Magforce Z provides supreme casting control, with its twenty-increment magnetic cast control dial delivering more precision and control than ever before. The Tatula HD’s larger 200-sized spool provides more line capacity than any other Tatula, with its high capacity aircraft grade aluminium spool wider and stronger than most reels of the same size, and works seamlessly with TWS to reduce line angle and friction, and improve overall casting performance.
